This painting holds a special place in my heart as it commemorates the incredible day when my husband and his friend crafted their very own Curragh, joining a fleet of these beautiful vessels for a grand launch on the Foyle. It was a momentous occasion for our community, with Curraghs of all shapes and sizes lining up along the riverbanks.
